SimplifySimple Warranty Agreement

 

Warranty Policy: 

 

  • Hardware Replacement/Upgrades:

           Your hardware upgrade/ replacement is governed by the Manufactures limited warranty that is offered by the manufacturer of the various computer components, and is limited to their specific terms and conditions of sale, and more specific, their return policies. Returns are only acceptable if the part still has it's protective wrapping intact, and no user made flaws are apparent. In other words, if you buy it, test it first before you install it. If you install it and damage the item in installation the item MAY NOT BE RETURNED. Should the hardware fail due to user enhancements, such as overclocking, unlocking or “jail breaking” no warranty can be applied. Overclocking is a method of making your CPU, video card, 3D accelerator and some other hardware run faster and/or better and is not endorsed by the manufacturers of the item, and therefore excluded from the warranty offered by the manufacturer. Unlocking and jail breaking refer to cell phones having their firmware altered to allow for multiple carrier use or system restriction removal.

  • 30 Day Warranty On Labor/Work Service Provided:

           In servicing your computer, SimplifySimple warrants that service will be performed in a professional and timely manner. SimplifySimple offers a 30 day limited warranty on all computer repairs and upgrades. At SimplifySimple’s discretion, if the issue from the original work order reoccurs within 30 days we will perform the service again at no charge. This warranty does not include: any software issues created and/or caused by the “end user” such as viruses, spyware, tampering with the settings or other non-related hardware failures. Limited warranty does not include any additional software, hardware, parts, system upgrades, or additional components needed, added OR installed to the system by the user. It is also voided by user negligence with cell phones or electronics not limited to falls, water damage, case opening and the jail breaking and unlocking clause written above.

Not Covered Under Warranty:

 

  • There are no warranties for computer repair that involve personnel software issues, virus, spyware, malware problems. We provide what we believe is that best protection against viruses and spyware at the time of service. There is no 100% protection against these computer threats. Each computer is susceptible to viruses. Due to the nature of computer viruses, spyware, malware, adware etc., the complexity of, and how they change on a daily basis, your surfing habits, web sites you visit, downloads, program installs, emails etc.
  • WE cannot monitor your surfing habits, therefore cannot guarantee your computer will not become infected again.
  •  Viruses, Spyware are very complex, very sophisticated and can be very difficult to detect and remove. Program Coders (hackers) target popular websites – video, music, Facebook apps, MySpace, free screen savers, free game sites. Social networking sites, file sharing – LimeWire, Bearshare and Pirate Bay downloads are usually infested with computer viruses, spyware and malware. Your Operating System, security programs, anti-virus software are fully updated, "patched" & current during service. Your computer is thoroughly cleaned during virus removal services. Security programs we install, if needed do the best job of protecting overall, but by no means guarantee/ warranty that your system will not become infected once again. If you get infected within 30 days, we will analyze the situation to see if you qualify for a discounted removal fee.
  • Electronic Communications:
    When you visit SimplifySimple or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices on this site. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

    Account:
    If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at our sole discretion.

    Product Descriptions:
    SimplifySimple attempts to be as accurate as possible, however, SimplifySimple does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product offered by SimplifySimple is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition.

    Repair Turn Time:
    SimplifySimple makes every effort to complete repairs as quickly as possible, usually within 2-3 business days, however due to the numerous factors involved in repairing an electronic device, we can not guarantee a turn time on any order.

    Logic Board Issues:
    In many cases, problems with a device's logic board or 'main board' are not immediately apparent and may require the installation of one or more parts before this issue is discovered. Once a repair attempt has been made on a device with a logic board issue, the device may; function just like it did before, function intermittently, or not function at all. This is not due to the repair, but due to the nature of a logic board issue. Sending your device to SimplifySimple carries this inherent risk.

    Guarantee of Repair:
    SimplifySimple makes no guarantees of repair. At SimplifySimple, we value providing our customers with a cost effective repair solution, unfortunately under certain circumstances this may not be possible. If we determine that your device can not be repaired cost effectively, we will ship your device back to you and refund any unused parts purchased for the repair.

    Previously Damaged Condition:
    In many cases DigiExpress can not restore a device to a 'previously damaged' condition if a repair attempt is unsuccessful. In addition, SimplifySimple can not guarantee that a device will return to partial functionality after a repair attempt has been made.

    Broken Glass:
    Devices shipped to SimplifySimple with broken glass parts (digitizer, screen assembly, back cover, etc.) may be returned without these parts if the repair is refused or unsuccessful. For safety reasons, SimplifySimple will not ship any device containing parts with broken glass if these parts were removed for repair or have pieces of glass missing. In addition, SimplifySimple's technicians will not install parts that include broken glass in any device.

    Return Repair:
    If you encounter a problem with your device within 30 days of receipt, we will repair or replace the any part(s) purchased from
    SimplifySimple at no charge. If another issue is found that we overlooked in the initial repair, there will be no labor charge, however you will have to pay for the part(s) necessary for the repair. If an issue unrelated to our repair is discovered, normal repair rates apply. Note: If there are signs of physical damage or moisture damage, the warranty is void and the repair will be treated as a new order. We do not send valet boxes for return repairs. We will pay the return shipping after the repair is completed.
    Data:
    SimplifySimple is not liable for any lost data during repair. Please backup your data prior to sending in your device for repair. In some cases it is possible to transfer your data to a new hard drive, please ask a SimplifySimple representative about this service.

    Abandonment Policy:
    Any device or accessory left at our repair center longer than 60 days without communication will be considered 'abandoned' and will become our property.
    We make numerous attempts to contact our customers about the status of their orders, however ultimately it is the customer's responsibility to communicate with
    SimplifySimple about their order. We usually send a diagnosis report via email within 72hrs of receipt of an device, if you do not receive this email please check the spam folder of your email program
    Terms:

    Diagnosis and Repair Service
    This is our 'bench fee' or minimum service fee. It covers both the diagnostic service and labor to work on your device. This fee is non refundable once a diagnostic report has been rendered.
    Add Installation Service
    Similar to our 'Diagnosis and repair service', this is our minimum service fee for attempting installation of parts in your device. This fee is non refundable once an installation attempt has been made.
    Pulled Parts
    The parts removed from a device during a repair. These damaged parts become our property and will be discarded.
    Cost Effective Repair
    A total repair cost that does not meet or exceed the replacement value of the device.
    Partially Damaged Condition
    The original damaged condition before a repair attempt has been made by SimplifySimple.
